Modular Furniture System for Critical Infrastructure
LITUA is a modular furniture system made of birch plywood, designed for intensive use in military and civil defence facilities. The structures are manufactured from 15–20 mm thick Riga Wood birch plywood, ensuring high mechanical strength, stability, and long service life, even under increased load conditions.
All elements are mutually compatible and based on a unified modular principle, allowing spaces to be quickly configured according to their function. The system includes foldable beds for short-term and long-term accommodation, as well as tables. The constructions are designed for repeated assembly and disassembly without tools or fasteners, using precisely engineered connection joints.
The furniture can be assembled within minutes. When disassembled, it occupies minimal volume, significantly reducing storage space requirements and transportation costs.
The structures have been tested in certified laboratories and proven in real operational conditions. The material provides a high load-bearing capacity relative to its weight, resistance to mechanical damage, and stability under varying climatic conditions. The system is suitable for deployment in container-type modules, temporary structures, and underground shelters.
LITUA delivers a standardised, reusable, and technically efficient solution for rapid infrastructure deployment in situations where fast mobilisation and secure spatial organisation are critical.
